Plant Engineer at Industrial and Medical Gases Nigeria Plc

About the Role

We are expanding our dynamic team and seeking a talented Plant Engineer to join our operations in Lagos. In this role, you will be responsible for safe, effective plant operations while achieving production targets and maintaining the highest safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve SHEQ objectives and ensure the production plant operates safely and effectively to meet production targets
• Monitor all functioning facilities to ensure they operate within manufacturer's allowable limits
• Monitor and adjust production parameters as needed
• Provide hourly logs of all production parameters
• Identify and report any deviations or errors detected on machinery
• Participate in plant maintenance activities as required
• Provide detailed reports of production activities completed during assigned shifts
• Participate in major maintenance planning by providing leadership in instrumentation, mechanical, and electrical scopes based on condition information, best practices, and equipment performance history
• Ensure all maintenance work is properly recorded as "As Found" and "As Left" using the SAP PM system

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Nigerian Citizen
• HND or BSc in Instrumentation, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
• 1–5 years of relevant experience
• Background in Instrumentation (advantageous)
• Completed NYSC scheme
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively under pressure
