Planning & Cost Estimation Lead

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. As the Process, Planning & Cost Estimation Lead, you will be responsible for leading cost estimation, budgeting, process optimization, and operational performance improvement across the Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting for projects and operations
• Manage Tender Board Secretariat functions and administer bidding processes
• Plan and coordinate SCM activities and vendor management initiatives
• Ensure all procurement and contracting activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
• Optimize cost efficiency and supplier performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and SCM process automation
• Manage process compliance and performance monitoring to achieve company objectives
• Prepare and circulate SCM reports in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cost estimation, preferably in the oil and gas or energy sector
• Strong knowledge of procurement planning, cost estimation methodologies, and supplier evaluation
• Proficiency in procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP tools
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex cost data
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field
• Professional certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), PMP (Project Management Professional), or equivalent
• Experience in procurement and tendering processes
