About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical and Health Education Teacher with a genuine passion for teaching and the ability to create a positive and engaging classroom experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, expanding team at our institution in Omole Phase 2 (Ojodu-Berger), Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with Nigerian and British curricula
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans
• Assess students' progress and provide appropriate feedback
• Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning and personal development
• Make effective use of technology, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint and interactive whiteboards, to enhance lesson delivery
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations
• Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions

Required Qualifications

• HND qualification, B.Sc., or B.Ed. Degree in Human Kinetics, Physical Education, Physical Therapy, or relevant disciplines
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a reputable secondary school
• Proven track record of preparing students for external examinations (WASSCE, BECE, UTME, IGCSE, etc.)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
• Proficiency in using interactive whiteboards and ICT tools in teaching and learning
