Key Responsibilities

• Prepare new prescriptions and refill requests for patients
• Dispense medication to patients according to doctor's prescriptions
• Process insurance claims
• Track inventory and assist in routine stock counts
• Identify and flag expiring drugs to prevent use
• Maintain minimum stock levels and prevent overstocking
• Keep the pharmacy clean and ensure dispensing materials are available
• Assist in receiving medications from vendors
• Support the Pharmacist in compounding activities
• Provide consumables to nurses and doctors as needed
• Prepare pharmacy packs under pharmacist supervision
• Maintain and update pharmacy checklists regularly
• Assist the Pharmacist with any other required duties
• Conduct group responsibilities accurately and on time

Required Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician Diploma
• Certification from the Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria
