About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to support pharmacological services at our clinic. You will play a key role in stocking, assembling, and distributing medications while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with daily clinic operations
• Prepare and distribute medicines to patients according to prescriptions
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock levels, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipts, and removing outdated drugs
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
• Fill prescriptions by calculating proper dosages and preparing accurate patient billing for medications
• Organize medications for dispensing by reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing labels, calculating quantities, and assembling intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies
• Maintain records by recording and filing physicians' orders and prescriptions
• Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments
• Prepare reports by collecting and summarizing relevant information
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Pharmacy Technician Certificate
• Minimum of National Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
• 1–5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or pharmacy warehouse
• Computer literacy
