Pharmacy Technician

Location: Kubwa, Abuja (FCT) Key Responsibilities: - Answering prescription-related questions - Educating patients and caregivers on the appropriate use of medication, including frequency and method of intake or application - Helping patients purchase their prescriptions - Answering the pharmacy phone - Helping patients locate over-the-counter medications - Referring patients to the pharmacist for more in-depth medical questions related to prescriptions - Managing Pharmacy inventory - Processing medical insurance claims - Esuring medications are properly stored., - Filling and labelling of medical containers. - Maintaining of sufficient stock of all needed medications. - Checking the quality and the sources of drugs before dispensing - To ensure and adhere to standard pharmacy safety measures and checks, etc. Required Qualifications: - Academic: Minimum academic qualification of Pharmacy Technician Certificate. - Professional License: Must have a valid and updated practicing license - Work Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of working experience. - Computer skills: Candidate must have good knowledge of computer - Registration: The ideal candidate must be a member of the relevant professional body.
