Job description

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. Sales and Revenue Management:
  • Drive sales revenue through effective marketing strategies.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets.
  • Forecast and track revenue on a weekly or monthly basis.
  • Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to the executive team.
Product Display and Cross-Selling:
  • Ensure maximum display standards of products in the pharmacy and other business chains to encourage customer purchases.
  • Promote cross-selling of products to drive revenue.
Consultation and counselling:
  • Educate customers on medications prescribed and other products.
  • Prepare prescription according to prescriber instruction.
  • Educating patients about how and when to take or administer the prescription.
  • Advise patients about potential side effects of medication and answering any questions they may have.
  • Administer various vaccinations, such as flu shots e.t.c
  • Dispense drugs amongst others
Sales Reconciliation:
  • Perform daily reconciliation of all sales lodgments, including cash and electronic payments, to ensure transaction accuracy.
Financial Discipline:
  • Ensure financial discipline and prudence in procurement of drugs e.t.c and payments.
Stock Management:
  • Ensure availability of stocks in the pharmacy to meet sales forecasts.
  • Follow up on inventory levels to avoid stockouts and short-dated products.
Employee Training and Customer Service:
  • Train and retrain subordinates on product knowledge and exceptional customer service.
  • Drive all subordinates to provide exceptional customer service.
Employee Performance and Discipline:
  • Conduct regular subordinate’s performance evaluations and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Ensure subordinates adherence to company standards and policies.
  • Monitor subordinates attendance and punctuality.
