## Title: Pharmacist
Position Overview

The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing professional health advice, and ensuring regulatory compliance within the pharmacy. This role plays a key part in delivering safe, effective, and patient-centred care while supporting the growth and operational efficiency of the organization.
Compensation
Competitive base salary + performance-based commission (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications in line with professional and regulatory standards
- Counsel patients on drug use, side effects, lifestyle, and preventive health practices
- Monitor drug therapies, detect interactions, and ensure safe usage
- Maintain accurate patient and prescription records
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and auxiliary staff
- Ensure full compliance with Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and other regulatory guidelines
- Manage inventory, check stock levels, and prevent drug shortages or expiries
- Promote wellness initiatives and company's white-label products where relevant
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree and current license with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a retail/community pharmacy setting
- Strong knowledge of drugs, dosage requirements, and potential interactions
- Excellent patient communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills
- Ability to manage staff and work within a team-oriented environment
- Integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to patient-centered care
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and basic digital health tools
- Experience in community outreach or wellness campaigns
- Strong organizational and multitasking ability
