## Title: Pharmacy Assistant

Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. The Pharmacy Assistant supports the daily operations of the pharmacy in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient, professional, and friendly service to all customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and passionate about health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities

Dispensing & Customer Service

  • Prepare and dispense prescription and over-the-counter medicines accurately
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, addressing inquiries, and referring complex cases to the pharmacist
  • Educate customers on proper medication use and basic health tips under pharmacist supervision
  • Support TeleHealth and online consultation services by helping patients connect to remote consultations when needed

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Receive, label, and arrange medicines systematically on shelves
  • Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist with ordering supplies
  • Ensure all products are within expiry and properly stored under recommended conditions
  • Support inventory audits and documentation

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, sales, and daily reports
  • Handle payment transactions courteously and efficiently
  • Keep the pharmacy environment clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards
  • Assist in display and merchandising of pharmacy products

Health Promotion & Outreach

  • Participate in community and in-store health campaigns (e.g., free health checks, awareness days)
  • Help organize product promotions and wellness events

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science-related discipline
  • Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in a community pharmacy setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Basic computer proficiency
