Payable Accountant at AshLuxury

About the Role

AshLuxury seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Payable Accountant to manage the accounts payable function. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Invoice Processing

• Receive and review vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness, particularly those related to luxury goods and services
• Code and enter invoices into the accounting system, considering the unique categorization requirements in luxury retail
• Verify appropriate approvals and ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining the brand's exclusivity standards

Payment Processing

• Prepare and process bi-weekly payment runs
• Reconcile vendor statements and address outstanding issues promptly
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors in accordance with company standards

Expense Report Management

• Review and process employee expense reports with understanding of luxury travel, entertainment, and business expenses
• Verify receipts and approvals in accordance with company policies
• Communicate with employees to resolve discrepancies while maintaining the integrity of expense policies

Vendor Relations

• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, recognizing the importance of exclusive partnerships in the luxury retail sector
• Address vendor inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Negotiate payment terms and discounts while preserving vendor relationships
