Patrol Supervisor - Ibadan

About the Role

The Patrol Supervisor will oversee and coordinate mobile patrol operations, ensuring the effective deployment of security personnel and adherence to company policies and standards. This role requires strong leadership, quick decision-making, and hands-on supervision of patrol activities, including responding to incidents and monitoring security measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate mobile patrol activities across assigned beats and client locations
• Conduct routine and surprise patrols to ensure guards are alert and compliant with company standards
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, providing on-site supervision
• Ensure accurate completion of patrol reports, incident reports, and daily activity logs
• Enforce discipline, professionalism, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Liaise with control room operators and operations management for effective communication
• Monitor patrol bikes, security equipment, and communication tools to ensure functionality
• Support guard training, performance monitoring, and corrective actions when necessary

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of B.Sc./HND qualification
• Proven experience in security operations or patrol supervision (advantageous)
• Ability to ride a motorbike confidently
• Knowledge of assigned routes and surrounding areas
• Physically fit, alert, and able to work flexible shifts and weekends
• Strong supervisory, communication, and reporting skills
• High level of discipline, integrity, and professionalism
• Additional certifications in security or law enforcement (advantageous)
