## Title: Paint Sales Representative

Job Responsibilities

  • Present, promote, and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing and potential customers to meet their requirements
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads and conduct product demonstrations
  • Generate sales presentations and negotiate contracts with potential clients
  • Provide quotations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs and promote products
  • Accelerate the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve sales targets and outcomes within scheduled timeframes
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
  • Analyze territory and market potential, tracking sales and status reports
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Keep track of outstanding balances and scheduled collections
  • Maintain client records and customer statements
  • Answer client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices and promotional trends
  • Understand and promote company programs
  • Submit activity and results reports, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
  • Continuously improve performance through feedback

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum BSc or HND in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related discipline
