The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services and play a key role in promoting vision health and patient education.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye and vision examinations for patients
• Diagnose visual problems and manage conditions such as myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism
• Prescribe, fit, and dispense corrective lenses and contact lenses
• Detect and co-manage ocular diseases and refer complex cases appropriately
• Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and proper use of corrective lenses
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical standards
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal eye care services

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Optometry (OD)
• Current registration from the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria (ODORBN)
• Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC experience in a clinical setting
• Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and communication skills
• Strong commitment to patient satisfaction and professional ethics
