Job Summary - We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Nurse to join our Eye Care Team. - The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and experienced in providing specialized nursing care to patients with eye conditions. Key Responsibilities - Conduct visual acuity tests and basic eye assessments - Assist ophthalmologists during eye examinations and procedures - Administer prescribed eye medications - Prepare and support patients before and after ophthalmic surgeries - Maintain and sterilize ophthalmic instruments and equipment - Educate patients on eye care and post-operative instructions. Requirements - Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license - Certificate or training in Ophthalmic Nursing (added advantage) - Experience in ophthalmology, eye clinic, or theatre support is preferred - Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach.
