## Title: Operations Manager
Position Overview
The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring quality standards throughout the various departments and delivering an excellent guest experience. This role oversees accommodation, food and beverage, reception, and events, working collaboratively across multiple units to ensure seamless day-to-day operational running of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure each department delivers consistently high standard guest service
- Conduct regular guest service delivery inspections of all departments including Facility, Kitchen, Food and Beverage, Front Office, Laundry, and guest apartments
- Collaborate with unit supervisors to reduce guest complaints
- Submit periodic operations reports capturing daily business operations activities, risks mitigated, and execution of operational efficiency plans
- Maintain effective cost control across all departments and reduce waste in Facility, Kitchen, and Food and Beverage areas
- Plan and direct daily operations and business events, ensuring quality service delivery and guest satisfaction
- Work with all departmental supervisors to ensure smooth running of day-to-day operations
- Monitor employee cleanliness, presentation, grooming, and service delivery standards
- Report apartment and furniture defects to all stakeholders
- Maximize profit through consistent delivery of the highest standard of service
- Ensure consistent implementation and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Resolve all operational day-to-day queries, complaints, and problems as they arise
- Supervise and coordinate banqueting functions
- Liaise daily with reception team to forecast business on a weekly basis and plan accordingly
- Maximize financial opportunities and achieve revenue targets
