Operations - Instrument Maintenance Technician III at ABNL Limited

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our operations team. In this role, you will install and maintain instrument equipment in compliance with all rules and practices, ensuring adherence to established performance levels and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain instrument equipment in compliance with all applicable rules and practices
• Test and repair instrumentation systems utilized by production equipment to ensure adherence to established performance levels and product quality
• Evaluate instruments and establish repair plans; document and verify problems and actions taken
• Plan, update, and oversee all activities within assigned areas of responsibility according to laws, regulations, standards, specifications, and procedures, with special emphasis on health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Support and encourage team effort between operations, engineering, and projects groups
• Provide input and review control specifications and work practices
• Take responsibility and accountability for control systems as defined in the Work Management Manual
• Apply and follow work permits through the Permit To Work System (PTWS) as outlined in the Work Management Manual
• Ensure quality and timely completion of work scheduled by the Maintenance Program
• Develop personal and team technical skills, including knowledge of new regulations, equipment, and methods
• Attend and instruct technical meetings as needed to keep instrument technicians informed of the latest specifications, codes, procedures, and technology
• Maintain open communications on control issues such as safe work practices, training, and materials with co-workers
• Support work prioritization to maximize effectiveness and complement the efforts of other work groups
• Provide technical support to other technicians for maintenance and troubleshooting on company instrument systems
• Generate Management of Change (MOC) requests on control-related equipment and installations, and follow up with installation inspections
