## Title: Operations Officer

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this position. You will coordinate daily site operations and support the smooth execution of construction projects under the direction of the Operations or Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily site operations under the direction of the Operations or Project Manager
  • Assist with planning and scheduling of resources (labor, materials, equipment) for ongoing construction activities
  • Monitor progress at project sites and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
  • Support procurement and delivery of materials, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
  • Liaise with site supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth workflows
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports, daily logs, and progress updates
  • Conduct routine site checks to track productivity and resolve minor site issues promptly
  • Ensure proper implementation of HSE policies and participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings
  • Report any delays, challenges, or non-compliance issues to the Operations or Project Manager
  • Assist in tracking resource usage and optimizing site logistics to reduce waste and downtime

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or Construction Management
  • 3–5 years of experience in construction operations or site coordination
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, procedures, and safety practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and site plans
  • Experience working with contractors, vendors, and construction teams
  • Good documentation and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with project management tools
  • Willingness to work on-site and adapt to varying project conditions
