## Title: Open Market Sales Representative

Position Overview

Our client is seeking highly motivated and result-driven Open Market Sales Representatives to drive product availability, visibility, and sales performance across open markets nationwide. The ideal candidate will be attached to designated distributors and will be responsible for developing assigned territories by actively selling products in open markets, building strong relationships with shop owners and traders, collating orders, and ensuring consistent market penetration.

This role requires hands-on field execution, deep understanding of open market dynamics, and proven experience working with top FMCG brands.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development & Territory Management

  • Actively develop and expand the assigned open market territory to increase product reach, availability, and brand presence
  • Identify new business opportunities within open markets, including onboarding new shop owners and traders
  • Ensure effective coverage of assigned routes and outlets on a daily basis in line with route-to-market plans

Sales Execution & Order Management

  • Sell FMCG products directly to shop owners, traders, and retailers within open markets
  • Collate accurate daily, weekly, and monthly orders from customers and ensure timely submission to the distributor
  • Drive volume growth by upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new product variants to customers
  • Ensure optimal product mix across outlets to maximize sales performance

Distributor Relationship Management

  • Work closely with assigned distributors to ensure seamless order fulfillment and product availability
  • Support distributors in stock rotation, product delivery follow-up, and resolution of trade-related issues
  • Provide regular feedback to distributors on market demand, customer needs, and competitive activities

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with shop owners, traders, and retailers
