Officer in Charge, Emergency Response at Halogen Group

About the Role

Halogen Group is expanding its dynamic team and seeking an experienced Officer in Charge to lead emergency response operations. This is a front-line leadership position requiring immediate decision-making, tactical expertise, and the ability to safeguard lives and property in critical situations.

Key Responsibilities

Operations and Service Delivery

• Coordinate emergency response operations efficiently to safeguard lives and property
• React promptly and correctly in emergency situations
• Respond to alarms and provide tactical direction to Commanders
• Detect and respond to threats to designated personnel using threat analysis, personnel security operations, responsive communications, and integrated team support
• Conduct and ensure training of Commanders in specialist security, technical, and professional areas
• Lead front-line emergency operations, take command, and ensure appropriate resources and tactics are deployed to secure personnel and property
• Ensure availability of Commanders, financial resources, and material support for task execution
• Maintain compliance with organizational guiding principles and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Organize logistics for all operations, including PPE and vehicle maintenance
• Ensure conformance to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements

Client and Stakeholder Management

• Respond promptly to client complaints and ensure timely resolution
• Provide security risk advice and operational support to strengthen customer satisfaction and retention
• Engage and manage relationships with clients, internal and external stakeholders, contractors, partners, and Government Security Agencies to achieve positive outcomes

Reporting

• Prepare incident reports documenting work-related problems, security concerns, and resolution methods
• Review and communicate all reported incidents and work-related problems to the Operations Lead
• Report any infringement of pertinent statutes, regulations, rules, orders, and instructions governing security personnel conduct to the proper authority

Team Supervision

• Lead and supervise emergency response team members
