About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Office Cleaner.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize surfaces, floors, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, dust, and debris
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures
• Dust furniture, shelves, and other surfaces to remove dirt and allergens
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces using appropriate cleaning solutions
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions or damage
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes
• Follow instructions and guidelines for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
• Report any safety hazards, accidents, or incidents to the supervisor immediately
• Collaborate with other cleaning staff to ensure consistent and efficient cleaning operations
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients, tenants, or occupants
• Follow safety protocols as required

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services (preferred)
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability and punctuality in attendance and performance
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
