## Title: Nutrition Program Monitoring & Evaluation Intern

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to support nutrition program implementation, monitoring, and evaluation activities across communities in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in remote locations and communities, supervising bi-annual Maternal, Newborn, Child Health and Nutrition (MNCHW) activities
  • Support the state program team in conducting training for health workers, independent monitors, and enumerators
  • Assist with implementation of key activities including supervision of pre-implementation activities, monitoring of health workers, ward-level trainings, and MNCHW campaign coordination
  • Support quality data collection by assisting facility health workers during data entry into call-in systems
  • Participate in MNCHW commodities distribution from the state medical store to health facilities, ensuring adherence to distribution plans
  • Conduct data quality assessments including spot checks, data validation, and supervisor coverage surveys
  • Collaborate with contracted independent monitors and enumerators on documentation filing and archiving (both digital and physical records, including ODK supervision checklists)
  • Support development of case studies and success stories from program implementation
  • Recognize learning opportunities and take initiative to participate in activities according to the implementation plan
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Nutrition, Health, Public Health, or related field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional and respectful demeanor
  • Willingness to work with sensitivity and kindness in community settings

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in nutrition and community-based programming
