Nutrition Officer at Women, Children’s Health and Community Development (WOCHAD) Initiative

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role. Responsibilities - Conduct community sensitization on MIYCN/IYCF best practices. - Lead growth monitoring, MUAC screening, malnutrition referrals, and follow-up. - Strengthen capacity of CHIPS agents, CHEWs, community volunteers, and facility staff. - Document household visits, counselling sessions, referrals, and service uptake. - Promote optimal breastfeeding, complementary feeding, and dietary diversity. - Conduct facility visits to strengthen the quality of nutrition service delivery. - Support nutrition surveillance and routine community data reporting. Requirements - Degree or certificate in Nutrition, Dietetics, Nursing, Food Science, Public Health, or related field. - 1–2 years’ experience in community nutrition or MNCH programs preferred. - Strong skills in counselling, anthropometry, and community mobilization. - Willingness to work in rural communities and travel frequently.
