Nursing Officer (RN / RM) at St. Ives Specialist Hospital

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated nursing professional to join our team at a specialist hospital in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, including physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor patients' responses to interventions
• Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to pregnant women, including conducting antenatal assessments, assisting with labor and delivery, and offering postpartum support
• Educate patients and their families about health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care practices
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and promote interdisciplinary communication
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to evidence-based practice guidelines

Requirements

• Relevant nursing qualifications (RN/RM)
• Professional experience in nursing practice
