Pershing Hills Elementary is seeking a highly accomplished and committed Nursery/Pre-School Teacher to join our esteemed educational institution. The successful candidate will possess substantial teaching experience at the nursery level and a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative, engaging lesson plans that promote academic excellence, foster intellectual curiosity, and instill a lifelong passion for learning in students.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Instruction

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in required subjects
• Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and promote learning
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Assessment and Evaluation

• Develop and administer assessments to measure student learning and progress
• Use assessment data to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback

Communication and Collaboration

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians through email, phone calls, and parent-teacher conferences
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives and events
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning

Classroom Management

• Create and maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
• Use effective classroom management strategies to minimize disruptions and maximize learning time
• Establish clear expectations and routines for student behavior

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Primary Education or related field
• Valid teaching certification in Nursery/Pre-School Education
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in the Nursery/Pre-School space
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
