Nursery Early Years Teaching Assistant

Position Overview

We are recruiting a dynamic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic Nursery Early Years Teaching Assistant for immediate employment. We welcome applications from suitably qualified candidates of all backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop exciting and relevant learning experiences for children both indoors and outdoors using the provided scheme of work
• Plan and develop educational programs that cater to the needs of children in early years learning
• Incorporate a variety of teaching and learning strategies to support child development
• Maintain open communication between parents and colleagues to build and sustain a supportive and encouraging team environment
• Keep abreast of educational developments and best practices in early years education
• Maintain accurate and updated records of each child's progress and prepare reports as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.Ed or B.Sc.) as a minimum qualification
• Minimum of 2 years of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) teaching experience
• Qualified documented certification or diploma in British and/or Montessori educational curriculum
• Certificate in Montessori Education (preferred)
• Computer proficiency
• Demonstrated commitment to working in close partnership with parents
• Ability to work outside regular office hours, including weekends and holidays as required
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Genuine enthusiasm, passion for teaching, and authentic care for young children
