About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia care for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures under the supervision of a physician or anesthesiologist. You will deliver high-quality clinical assistance to the anesthesia team and ensure optimal patient outcomes throughout the perioperative period.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthetic preparation and comprehensive patient assessment
• Administer anesthesia and provide intra-operative care
• Evaluate patient responses and implement corrective actions as needed
• Provide patient education and emotional support
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams and department staff
• Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure readiness
• Lead quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Minimum academic qualification: Basic Diploma in Anaesthetic Nursing (CRNA)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in the health sector
• Current registration with the National Association of Nurses and Midwifery of Nigeria
• Valid license to practice as an Anesthetic Nurse
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of the Nurse Practice Act
• Understanding of safety and infection control practices
