Music Teacher

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Glowfield International School is seeking a passionate and highly skilled Music Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective music lessons, with strong competence in both music theory and practical instruction using musical instruments. Key Responsibilities: - Teach music theory and practical music lessons effectively. - Instruct learners on the use of various musical instruments. - Prepare lesson plans aligned with the Montessori, Nigerian and British curricula. - Assess and monitor students’ progress in music education. - Foster students creativity, confidence and appreciation for music. - Participate in school activities, performances and events related to music. Requirements: & Qualifications - First Degree in Education or a First Degree in Music with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE). - Minimum of 3–5 years proven teaching experience as a Music Teacher. - Strong proficiency in teaching music theory and musical instruments. - Demonstrable experience working with Montessori, Nigerian and British curricula. - Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
