Multilayer/Extrusion Machine Operator at Elizabeth Maddeux

About the Role

Elizabeth Maddeux is seeking an experienced Multilayer/Extrusion Machine Operator to join our production team. You will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining multilayer/extrusion machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, hands-on experience, and a demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor multilayer/extrusion machines to ensure continuous production
• Perform routine checks and maintenance of machines to prevent breakdowns
• Troubleshoot minor machine faults and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
• Maintain accurate production logs and reports
• Assist in training junior operators when necessary
• Work in shifts as assigned, including readiness for overtime when needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in multilayer/extrusion operations
• Strong technical knowledge of extrusion machinery and processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and under shift schedules
• Willingness to relocate to Enugu
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies

Work Schedule

• 2-shift system: Morning and Night shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Saturday: Half-day for morning shift (closes by 1 PM); off for night shift
• Sunday: Off for all shifts
• Overtime applicable when necessary and compensated separately
