## Title: Field Service Engineer – Mechanical, Electrical & Battery Systems

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Field Service Engineer with strong expertise across mechanical, electrical, and electrochemical systems. The ideal candidate will be capable of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining lithium-ion battery systems, motor vehicles, borehole pumping systems, and a wide range of industrial or household mechanical equipment. This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver with broad technical knowledge and a passion for fixing and optimizing complex systems.

Lithium-Ion Battery Systems

  • Perform diagnostic assessments on battery packs, battery management systems (BMS), and related electrical components
  • Safely repair, refurbish, or replace battery modules and components in accordance with safety standards
  • Conduct charge/discharge testing, capacity evaluation, and general battery health inspections
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to handling and servicing energy-storage systems

Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivetrain issues on light vehicles or machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance including braking systems, suspension, wiring, and engine components
  • Install, repair, or configure auxiliary systems such as electrical accessories or control units

Borehole & Pumping Systems

  • Diagnose and repair borehole pumps (submersible, surface pumps, and control panels)
  • Install, align, and test pumping equipment, piping, valves, and electrical control systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal water flow and system reliability

General Engineering & Technical Support

  • Provide hands-on technical solutions for a variety of mechanical and electrical breakdowns
  • Fabricate or modify components when needed using appropriate tools and methods
  • Conduct site assessments, recommend technical improvements, and produce service reports
