Role Summary

The Mud-Logging Operations Manager leads the execution, supervision, and continuous improvement of the company's mud-logging operations. This role ensures optimal performance across rigs, high-quality data delivery, safe execution, and excellent client satisfaction.

You will manage field teams, maintain operational readiness, enforce quality standards, and serve as the company's operational representative to IOC clients. This position requires a strategic yet hands-on leader with strong operational discipline, deep technical understanding, and the ability to uphold company culture across distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

Lead full-cycle operational oversight for all mud-logging projects
Manage mobilization, logistics, equipment deployment, and maintenance
Ensure operational readiness, procedural compliance, and accurate reporting standards
Monitor rig performance, sample workflows, gas detection accuracy, and real-time data quality
Conduct operational audits and drive continuous improvements across rigs

Team Leadership & Performance

Supervise Mud-Loggers, Data Engineers, and wellsite teams
Build a performance-driven culture grounded in core company values
Train, mentor, evaluate, and provide performance management to field personnel
Promote teamwork, safety-consciousness, and operational excellence

Client Relationship Management

Serve as the primary operational representative to IOC clients
Attend daily operations meetings, well planning sessions, and after-action reviews
Address client concerns swiftly and implement corrective actions
Maintain strong client trust through consistent communication and reliability
