Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer (Volunteer) at Light Foundation Center for Peaceful Coexistence and Development

Role Overview

The M&E Officer will support the collection, analysis, and reporting of data that ensures quality programming and evidence-based decision-making. This position reports to the Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and use basic monitoring tools to track project indicators
• Support data entry, validation, and analysis using Excel or KoboToolbox
• Conduct routine field monitoring visits to ensure data quality
• Support preparation of periodic M&E and donor reports
• Contribute to documentation of success stories and lessons learned

Required Qualifications and Experience

• BSc/BA in Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, or related discipline
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Knowledge of data collection tools (Kobo, ODK, etc.) and Excel
• Strong report-writing skills and attention to detail

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a humanitarian or development organization
