Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Role Summary

The M&E Officer will support the Project Manager in overseeing MEAL activities, ensuring effective use of NOMIS tools and the MIS system. This role involves timely review and validation of CCW and CTW data, conducting routine Data Quality Assessments (DQAs), providing supportive supervision, addressing data gaps, and preparing periodic reports in line with donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in overseeing MEAL activities of the CSOs in the implementation and use of NOMIS tools and MIS
• Ensure timely submission of Daily Activity Data as provided by CCCRN SI
• Support the DEC to review daily submissions of service forms by CCWs
• Collect and review all service provision MIS from CCWs before data entry
• Conduct routine Data Quality Assessments (DQAs), supportive supervision, and on-site data verification
• Prepare and submit timely weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in line with Global Fund requirements on the GC7 project
• Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and reporting delays and implement corrective actions
• Strengthen data accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and reliability
• Conduct on-the-job training on data collection, reporting, and use of M&E tools
• Support integration of M&E best practices at sub-national levels
• Attend to any other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4 years of experience, preferably working in an NGO
