Monitoring And Evaluation (M&E) Officer at Young Prodigy Humanitarian Organization

Position Summary

Young Prodigy Humanitarian Organization is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust monitoring and evaluation system to track project progress and ensure quality reporting. You will support data collection, analysis, reporting, and learning processes across project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific M&E plans, tools, and indicators
• Support routine data collection and ensure data quality and accuracy
• Conduct field monitoring visits to assess project performance
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports
• Build the capacity of field staff on data collection and reporting
• Collaborate with program teams to document lessons learned and success stories

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Development Studies, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in M&E roles within NGO or humanitarian settings
• Strong knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Kobo, or DHIS2)
• Excellent reporting and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
