Job Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Manager to lead the full evaluation cycle from inception design and data-collection coordination to analysis, learning, and final reporting across priority projects. You will design and deliver M&E plans, coordinate evaluations, prepare clear reports, and maintain strong relationships with donors and partners. This role combines rigorous M&E leadership with Theory of Change design, logframe construction, and evaluation planning with clear, concise writing for inception and evaluation reports.
Job Details
- Type: Contract (4 months, with possible extension)
- Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Key Responsibilities
- Lead M&E strategy and MEAL plan development, including Theory of Change, logframe/results framework, KPIs, and Indicator Reference Sheets
- Design and articulate program strategies that reflect the organization's mission, field experience, and donor priorities
- Produce high-quality evaluation reports that synthesize quantitative and qualitative findings, provide clear conclusions, and offer actionable recommendations
- Develop Inception Reports with methodology, sampling, tools, workplan, timeline, risk/ethics, and quality assurance
- Integrate M&E strategies into proposals, including clear indicators, data collection methods, and learning plans
- Conduct desk reviews and landscape analyses to strengthen evidence-based program design
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather background content, success stories, and field data
- Support the writing of narrative reports, donor briefs, and pitch decks as needed
- Lead the development of concept notes and full proposals in collaboration with program and technical teams
- Coordinate external evaluations of programs and projects, including baseline, midline, and endline assessments

- 5+ years of experience leading M&E and external evaluations (baseline, midline, and endline assessments)
