Mixologist / Bartender / Barista at Precious Palm Royal Hotel

About the Role

This is a contract, on-site position located in Benin City. You will craft a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and specialty coffees or teas, while delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks with precision and creativity
• Take customer orders and provide personalized beverage recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Restock inventory and manage supplies efficiently
• Adhere to safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for guests
• Provide training and mentorship to team members in beverage preparation and customer service

Required Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, including cocktails, mocktails, specialty coffees, and teas
• Culinary skills for enhancing drink presentation and suggesting complementary food pairings
• Experience training and mentoring team members
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Previous experience in a similar bartending or barista role is advantageous but not required
