Mid-Level Researcher (Academic)

Role Summary - The Academic Researcher will support the Centre's research outputs through doctrinal, comparative, and policy-oriented research, contributing to the Centre's priority research areas. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct legislative, regulatory, and policy research aligned with the Centre's research mandate and priorities. - Contribute to the drafting of policy papers, research reports, academic reviews, economic and legislative analysis. - Provide methodological and analytical support to research design, data interpretation, and comparative frameworks. - Support internal quality assurance processes on research output - Collaborate with other researchers and external experts engaged by the Centre on joint research outputs. - Participate in internal research review sessions and knowledge-sharing activities as required. Required Qualifications: and Experience - Academic background in economics or business related discipline - Strong understanding of business environment, institutional processes, and policy analysis. - Demonstrated research and writing experience, including policy-relevant outputs. - Prior involvement in governance, legislative, or public policy research is an advantage. - Ability to deliver high-quality outputs within tight timelines in a policy-oriented environment. - The Academic Researcher will work collaboratively with the Centre's research team on assigned projects.
