Microbiologist

Position Overview: - We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Microbiologist with 2–3 years of relevant work experience to join our team in Ogun State. - The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting microbiological tests, analyzing results, maintaining laboratory standards, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. - Conduct environmental monitoring and water analysis. - Prepare culture media, reagents, and maintain laboratory equipment. - Document and interpret test results accurately. - Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs). - Support internal and external audits. - Maintain proper records of laboratory activities and reports. - Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related field. - 2–3 years of relevant laboratory experience (preferably in FMCG, pharmaceutical, food, or manufacturing industry). - Good knowledge of microbiological techniques and laboratory best practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and within a team. - Good documentation and reporting skills.
