Medical Radiographer and Sonographer at Shalina Healthcare

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. About the job - The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including ultrasounds, x-rays and other medical imaging examinations. - The role involves ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging for diagnosis, maintaining patient safety and comfort, and supporting physicians in clinical decision-making What to expect - Perform and interpret high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures including ultrasounds, X-rays, and specialized radiographic studies. - Ensure accurate patient positioning and appropriate selection of imaging techniques for diagnostic accuracy. - Operate and maintain sonography and radiology equipment in compliance with safety standards. - Adhere to radiation protection protocols for patients, staff, and self. - Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of imaging equipment. - Participate in quality control, audits, and continuous professional development activities. Essential education, experience and skills - Bachelor’s degree in Radiography - Current practicing license with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN). - Certification or formal training in Ultrasound/Sonography is highly desirable. - Minimum of 3–4 years relevant experience in a diagnostic or hospital setting. - Proficiency in both radiographic imaging and ultrasound techniques.
