Medical Physics Intern at NSIA-LUTH Cancer Center (NLCC)

About the Role

NSIA-LUTH Cancer Center (NLCC) is recruiting Medical Physics Interns to work on-site at our Lagos State cancer treatment facility. In this role, you will collaborate with the Medical Physics team and participate in various activities relating to radiation treatment, radiological protection, imaging, and healthcare technology management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support radiation treatment planning and delivery
• Assist with radiological protection protocols
• Contribute to imaging technology operations
• Support healthcare technology management initiatives
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Medical Physics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate records
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision
• Must reside in Lagos State

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of radiation safety
• Experience with radiotherapy
• Familiarity with imaging technology
