An established company is recruiting for the following position. Position Overview: LECC Hospital is seeking a dedicated and competent Medical Officer to provide high-quality medical care to patients in line with clinical best practices and hospital protocols. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnosis. - Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans in line with approved clinical guidelines. - Prescribe medications and request relevant laboratory and diagnostic investigations. - Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. - Provide emergency and routine medical care as required. - Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records. - Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and care plans. - Collaborate with nurses, consultants, and other health professionals to deliver holistic patient care. - Adhere strictly to hospital policies, clinical governance standards, and ethical guidelines. - Participate in clinical meetings, audits, continuous medical education, and quality improvement initiatives. - Support other medical staff and contribute to team learning where applicable. Requirements: and Qualifications: - MBBS/MBChB from a recognized institution. - Fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with a valid practicing license. - Completion of NYSC or exemption certificate. - Minimum of 2–4 years post-qualification experience (hospital experience preferred). - Sound knowledge of clinical protocols, patient safety, and infection prevention and control. - Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
