Medical Laboratory Scientist at Zenith Medical & Kidney Centre

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team at Zenith Medical & Kidney Centre in Lagos. You will perform critical diagnostic testing and analysis to support patient care and treatment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical, microscopic, and other analytical tests on patient samples to diagnose and treat diseases
• Examine and analyze blood, body fluids, tissues, and cells to identify abnormalities, infectious microorganisms, or abnormal cells
• Perform blood typing and cross-matching for transfusions
• Operate and maintain high-precision laboratory equipment including microscopes, cell counters, and automated analyzers to ensure accuracy
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure the reliability of test results
• Report and interpret test results clearly and accurately to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers
• Accurately document all test results and procedures in compliance with regulations
• Adhere to all laboratory safety guidelines and protocols

Required Qualifications

• University degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a reputable institution
• Valid credentials and practice license from MLSCN
• NYSC completion or discharge certificate
• 1–3 years post-NYSC experience
