Medical Laboratory Scientist at Synapse Resource Center

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking a talented Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our laboratory operations in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure laboratory procedures are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain and improve processing of routine and urgent samples
• Provide fast, efficient, and courteous customer service to clients
• Liaise with client services officers and other staff to resolve client issues
• Manage stock usage and prepare stock reports
• Perform and document quality control procedures in accordance with MLSCN requirements
• Ensure compliance with ISO and MLSCN standards
• Generate weekly activity logs and reports
• Conduct daily and weekly equipment maintenance
• Manage equipment maintenance, documentation, and technical troubleshooting for assigned area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• At least 1-3 years of experience as a laboratory scientist
• Advanced knowledge and experience in handling laboratory equipment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
