Job Description - A Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) is a healthcare professional responsible for conducting complex tests and analyses on patient samples, such as blood, tissue, and body fluids, to help diagnose and treat diseases. Key Responsibilities - Conducts laboratory tests and procedures to detect, identify, and quantify various substances in patient samples - Analyzes and interprets test results, and reports findings to healthcare professionals - Operates and maintains laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and precision of results - Develops and validates new testing methods and procedures - Participates in quality control and quality assurance activities - Collaborates with healthcare teams to provide accurate and timely laboratory results Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratoryor related field - Professional certification (e.g., MLS, MLT, or equivalent) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Attention to detail and accuracy - Effective communication and teamwork skill.
