Role Description

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for a full-time, on-site position at Etta Atlantic Memorial Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of laboratory tests to support the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze body fluids, tissues, and cells
• Identify abnormalities and provide accurate test results
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment
• Ensure adherence to quality control protocols and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely and precise results

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
• Proficiency in laboratory technology, medical testing, and diagnostic procedures
• Strong knowledge of laboratory medicine, pathology, and quality control practices
• Attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or licensure in Medical Laboratory Science
• Experience in ensuring regulatory compliance
