Medical Laboratory Scientist

Location: Chevron, Lagos Position Overview: - We are seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist to conduct accurate clinical laboratory testing, support patient diagnosis and treatment, and maintain high standards of laboratory quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on blood, tissues, and body fluids using standard procedures - Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment while monitoring quality control measures - Ensure proper specimen handling, documentation, and reporting of test results - Maintain a sterile laboratory environment and comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards - Support blood grouping, compatibility testing, and identification of infectious agents - Manage laboratory inventory, prepare routine reports, and maintain confidentiality of patient information Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) - Registration and a valid practicing license with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria - Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.(NYSC are encouraged to apply) - Strong documentation, quality management, and laboratory data management skills - Attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Salary N150,000 - N250,000 monthly.
