Position Purpose

We are seeking a qualified Medical Doctor with obstetrics and gynaecology expertise to join our team. You will deliver comprehensive clinical care, perform surgical procedures, manage maternity and gynaecological patients, and provide emergency medical support to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive outpatient consultations and manage antenatal and fertility clinics
• Provide specialized care for obstetric and gynaecological cases
• Independently perform or assist in obstetric and gynaecological surgeries, including Caesarean Sections, fibroid removal, ovarian cyst procedures, appendectomies, and other gynaecological procedures
• Lead daily ward rounds and manage pre- and post-operative care for maternity, obstetrics/gynaecology, and general medicine patients
• Provide 24/7 on-site medical support during scheduled shifts and handle obstetric emergencies with precision and speed
• Diagnose and treat patients' medical problems through history review, examination, diagnosis, treatment, and counselling
• Order laboratory tests and interpret results accurately
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
• Participate in clinical audits to optimize patient outcomes
• Collaborate with nursing and laboratory teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centric services

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Medical degree with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
• Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria
• Proficiency in obstetric and gynaecological surgical procedures
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and patient management abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional impartiality
