Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Medical Doctor to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, and promoting health and wellness within our facility.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care

• Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and diagnose patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate

Medical Records and Documentation

• Take detailed medical histories and maintain accurate patient records
• Keep patient documentation current and accessible

Diagnostic Testing

• Order appropriate diagnostic tests (laboratory work, imaging studies, etc.)
• Interpret test results and incorporate findings into clinical decision-making

Treatment and Disease Management

• Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension
• Provide preventive care including vaccinations and health screenings

Communication and Patient Education

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle habits and disease management strategies

Professional Collaboration

• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain current knowledge of medical advancements and best practices through continuing education

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Degree in Medicine
• 2–5 years of post-NYSC work experience
• Valid Medical licensure
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Must be resident in Ibadan or willing to relocate
