About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Medical Doctor with outstanding medical knowledge and excellent counseling skills to join Queens Clinic Limited in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to patients' medical problems by reviewing their medical history
• Interview patients, take medical histories, and perform physical examinations
• Analyze, diagnose, and explain medical problems during consultations
• Interpret diagnostic results under the supervision of the Medical Director
• Formulate and diagnose treatment plans in consultation with supervising doctors
• Refer patients to specialists or consultants when further diagnosis or treatment is needed
• Explain procedures and prescribed treatments to patients
• Participate in all treatment and preventative healthcare services as delegated by the supervising Medical Director
• Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
• Liaise with other medical professionals in the hospital
• Provide clinical instruction to nursing staff and other clinical teams as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine from an accredited university
• MBBS qualification
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience
• Completion of mandatory NYSC (National Youth Service Corps)
• Current registration and valid license to practice medicine from MDCN (Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria)
