An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated medical professional to join the health team at Lindii Peace Foundation (LPF). As a Medical Doctor, you will be an integral member delivering high-quality medical services in field locations. This role is ideal for a medical professional passionate about making a tangible impact in humanitarian settings and adaptable to dynamic field environments.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Case Management

• Provide high-quality medical care and treatment to patients in accordance with national and international standards and LPF protocols
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses in project locations
• Ensure rational prescription and proper use of medicines and medical supplies
• Oversee infection prevention and control measures at the health facility and during outreach activities
• Refer patients needing specialized care in accordance with established referral pathways

Program Support and Coordination

• Participate in health assessments, outreach, and mobile clinic activities as required
• Collaborate with LPF's multi-sectoral teams (Nutrition, WASH, Protection, etc.) to ensure integrated service delivery
• Support health education and community sensitization on key health issues
• Identify health needs and respond to medical challenges in supported communities

Reporting and Quality Assurance

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and reports
• Contribute to periodic project reports, data collection, and analysis for program improvement
• Participate in internal and external meetings, trainings, and capacity-building sessions as required

Accountability and Safeguarding

• Uphold LPF's values and commitment to safeguarding and organizational standards
