Position Overview: - St. Dominic Catholic Hospital is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Medical Doctor to join our clinical team. - The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment, and upholding the hospital’s core values of responsiveness, teamwork, efficiency, innovation, ethical practice, and social responsibility. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough medical assessments, examinations, and diagnosis of patients. - Prescribe appropriate treatments, medications, and management plans. - Admit, manage, and discharge patients appropriately. - Perform minor medical and surgical procedures as required. - Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation. - Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, laboratory scientists, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care. - Respond promptly to medical emergencies. - Participate in ward rounds and clinical meetings. - Educate patients and families on preventive health measures and treatment plans. - Adhere strictly to hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines. - Participate in continuous professional development and hospital training programs. Required Skills & Competencies - Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree in Medicine with 2 - 20 years work experience. - Strong clinical and diagnostic skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Compassion and patient-centered approach to care - Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team - High level of professionalism and ethical conduct - Good documentation and record-keeping skills - Strong decision-making and problem-solving ability - Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies efficiently.
